To apply for employment you must submit:

  • Completed Applications
  • Color Photo Of Yourself
  • Copy Of Your Driver’s License
  • Copy of Your Social Security Card

Some requirements include (varies depending on specific position):

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must have a valid Mississippi Driver’s License.
  • Must consent to fingerprinting.
  • Must consent to background investigation.
  • Must have good references documenting good moral character, personal integrity and professional and ethical work related performance.

Complete the Sheriff’s Application and fill out each of the required fields. The form may be filled out on the computer and then sent via email. To highlight all available form fields, including required fields, click “highlight fields” at the top of the document. Once you have completed the document, scroll back to the top of the document and click the “Submit By Email” button.

Do not forget to attached the required documents to your email (photo, driver’s license, Social Security Card). If you do not have them available or do not feel comfortable sending these documents via email then please mail a copy to the address listed above.
