MOBILE COMMAND VEHICLE $1,000,000.00 from Edward Byrne Memorial Grant

UPGRADED THE COUNTY JAIL TO IMPROVE SECURITY FACILITY ISSUES:, NEW DOORS AND LOCKING SYSTEM, NEW CAMERA SYSTEM ,NEW ROOF, NEW AIR CONDITIONING, NEW SUICIDE PADDED CELLS $13 million

REPLACE OUTDATED INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY EQUIPMENT this is an ongoing project $20,685.00 JAG GRANT

REPLACED 30% OF THE HARRISON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE VEHICLE FLEET Paid from Drug forfeiture.

15 NEW IN-CAR VIDEO SYSTEMS $80,423.00 paid from JAG GRANT

UPDATE COMMUNICATIONS COMPUTER AIDED DISPATCH SYSTEM $700.000 paid from drug forfeiture

AFIX TRACKER AUTOMATED FINGER AND PALM PRINT IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM- permanent storage of known finger and palm prints, and the ability to compare latent (crime scene) prints to the known print database $37,000.00 out of Paul Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement Grant FY 2010

ALTERNATE LIGHT SOURCE- enhances observation, photography and collection of evidence, including latent fingerprints, body fluids, hair and fibers, bruises, bite marks, wound patterns, shoe and foot impressions, gun-shot residues, drug traces, questioned documents, and bone-fragment detection, among others. $4,895.00 out of Paul Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement Grant FY 2010

FORENSIC LABORATORY- expansion and remodel of forensic laboratory (includes new seamless epoxy flooring, chemical resistant metal cabinets, stainless steel counter tops and backsplash, double sink and track lighting) $12,000.00 out of the HCSO forfeiture account

SUPERGLUE FUMING CHAMBER- used for the safe and controlled development and preservation of latent fingerprints $14,051.00 out of Paul Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement Grant FY2011

AbP-ID ANTIBODY TEST EQUIPMENT- uses scientific technology to obtain unique human antibody profiles to be used as a screening tool to determine which biological samples are appropriate for DNA testing $5,880.00 out of Paul Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement Grant FY2011

CANON DFO/Ninhydrin DEVELOPMENT CHAMBER- accelerates the development of fingerprints on porous items of evidence when using DFO or Ninhydrin developments chemicals $10,495.00 out of Paul Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement Grant FY2011

DUCTLESS FUME HOOD for CHEMICAL PROCESSING- safely and effectively process items of evidence for fingerprints using chemical processes $3,994.00 out of Paul Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement Grant FY2011

DOWNFLOW DUCTLESS FUME HOOD- safely and effectively process items of evidence using fingerprint powder
